Flame retardant When installed as a single cable,although ignitable on exposure to flame source,will greatly reduce flame spread and self-extinguish once the flame source is removed.However in a vertical cable bundle,fire can spread along the cable.In order to avoid this danger,"no flame propagating”cables should be used.
